What if the focus of this study was lead by recovering addicts?
I have partnered with an associate and advocate for sober living, Miles White, of Ripple Effect. Ripple Effect is a burgeoning non-profit that puts people in recovery on the water. The fly shop I work at hosts monthly outings with his group. Together, our goal is to deploy ten tags in 2025.
Through this partnership, the recovery community will produce science-backed data collaborating in a new and innovative approach to fish research.
Imagine the life changing experience this could provide as addicts begin to feel a sense of accomplishment and connection through their involvement in scientific discovery. These are good hearted people who can lead the next evolution of fly fishing & wild fish studies. Our ask is that you would gift us the cost of ten tags, ($50K) to match our efforts. Like the idea?
